AWARD-WINNERS 2017

On 18 October the jury’s verdict in the 64nd Ondas Awards was announced in Barcelona. For more than 6 decades it has been a benchmark and an outstanding showcase for Spanish and international talent in the audiovisual industry.

Radio Barcelona, owned by SER, gave 23 awards to the most outstanding professionals, companies and works from Spain and abroad in radio, radio advertising, television and music.

The Ondas Awards, Spain’s most long-standing and prestigious radio and television awards are given each year to the most outstanding professionals, companies and works from Spain and abroad in radio, radio advertising and television.

More than 400 entries from more than 15 countries all around the world competed for this year’s Ondas Awards, which were officially supported by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

    The jury wishes to point out that it was filmed capturing a great humanity in the gaze of those filmed, while keeping a dispassionate distance at all times.
    Putting the spotlight on individual cases lends a narrative quality that manages to "deimmunise" viewers used to seeing so many shocking images of war.
