AWARD-WINNERS 2019

On 16th October the jury’s verdict in the 66nd Ondas Awards was announced in Barcelona. For more than 6 decades it has been a benchmark and an outstanding showcase for Spanish and international talent in the audiovisual industry.

Radio Barcelona, owned by SER, gave 27 awards to the most outstanding professionals, companies and works from Spain and abroad in radio, radio advertising, television and music.

The Ondas Awards, Spain’s most long-standing and prestigious radio and television awards are given each year to the most outstanding professionals, companies and works from Spain and abroad in radio, radio advertising and television.

More than 450 entries from 25 countries all around the world competed for this year’s Ondas Awards, which were officially supported by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

It is a documentary that expresses emotions with an agile, dynamic and spontaneous narrative. Slovak television shows great generosity when it comes to dealing with the places of origin of children who were handed over for adoption. The viewer is presented with moving, close up images of families who have been forced to give up their children.

Thanks to this series, more exposure has been given to the endless suffering of refugees.
